This one is very high one my wife and I's list! We are going to the DR this summer, but are thinking Italy will be our 2023 excursion. Tuscany, Rome, Sicily, Naples...can't wait to EAT so much food and drink plenty of good Italian wine! Expensive though...plane tickets to Rome for May 2023 are going for almost $1000 a ticket!!!!!

I’m thinking of a European city break next year. Currently on the list of possibilities are Budapest, Vienna and Oslo. I know Sossity already said she wasn’t struck with Oslo, but I’d be interested if anyone has any other thoughts or recommendations!

Have you ever visited Luxembourg City?  I haven't been in a long time, but it was BEAUTIFUL!

I haven’t, no. Would definitely be interested but we’re using our British Airways Avios points for our next trip and doesn’t look like Luxembourg is somewhere they do city breaks to.

edit: looks like it is an option actually…it’s just not in their deals. Another option to think about I guess.

I think I flew into Frankfurt and then we drove there if memory serves.  But the drive is beautiful too and you get to see a lot of Germany and Luxembourg that way.

I’ve been on a mini road trip through bits of Germany before, along the Rhine mostly, and it was beautiful. Next year it’ll be a 3 night city break so no driving from one place to another. Leaning towards Budapest…although we’ve got till the end of next year to decide. Planning holidays is one of my favourite holidays so can’t help but think about it in advance 😂

So would I! I know envy is a sin but boiiiiiiiiii there's no better word to describe my emotions towards folks who literally get paid (probably more than I do at my 9-5!) to travel the world and eat food. Like, that is THE dream for me.
