When I am conversing with others I like to say "if you please" while in the middle of conversation and it always throws people off.. but.. I mean "if you please, then please do" Online I just use annoying emojis mainly

I tend to say "you know" when obviously the person doesn't know since I'm telling an original story.

+1 With apparently, I also overuse technically.
A friend of mine says actually a lot. She also does "yes, but no, but yes, but actually", while she makes up her mind on a subject. Very endearing the first couple of times. Very annoying on the 400th.
Another friend in a pub once bet her £100 that she couldn't go an hour without using the word. She was silent for 7 minutes but it slipped out on her second sentence. The bet wasn't held but she did have to buy a round.

I tend to say "you know" when obviously the person doesn't know since I'm telling an original story. That's very common in Northern Ireland.

I catch myself using "just" a lot when replying to threads, however I tend to catch it when proofing just before replying so it doesn't appear that often. I do have a friend that literally uses "literally" in like every sentence. His 7yo now says it all the time.

I say "Nice" a lot when people are telling me about their weekend or some story or accomplishment. Sometimes I'll throw a little pizzazz in there and go with "very nice!" Or, if I'm feeling especially daring, I'll say "right on" instead. It's a problem lol. I need a new word that indicates I'm listening😁

Mine is probably "according to." I use that when I cite what someone else said.

I say "bro" a lot, to everything and everyone. "Bro" to my partner, "bro" to my dog, "bro" when an inanimate object does something annoying. All are bro.

Online, I do overuse "lol" I think. I use it even if I just smirk.... or if I just find it amusing, silly, etc., and it does not even show outwardly. I could have a completely straight and stoic face.
I know I have said "You know what I mean?" a lot in person. I also say, "no idea," "blood flow" (talking about circulation) xD Umm.. and I say a lot of curse words often. Hehe.. I will not share those.
