This plugin (Music Player) has four (4) Audio Sound Inputs and five (5) Timeout Settings to control the starting time for audio sounds.

The following applies to this plugin:

1. Audio sounds will play automatically (see Timeout Settings) in the background and will only be heard on the Main page.

2. When leaving the Main page and decide to return, the first Audio Sound 1 will start playing with Timeout Settings in place.

3. There are no Stop / Start / Pause / Mute buttons to control the audio sounds and because of this, it is highly recommended that members/guests be informed of this prior to enabling this plugin! (see Note below)

Note: For your members/guests convenience, a Title Bar has been added with a text notice warning that background sounds will start within 10, 20, 30, 40, or 60 seconds, depending on the Timeout Settings input.

Supports .mp3 .ogg and .wav audio formats.

To test your audio sound format URL file is to copy/paste it directly into your browsers address bar
and hit enter. If you don't hear anything, then your audio sound format file is not supported.

Note: This plugin would be great for sounds during seasonal holidays.

Here ya go.. This version should allow you to choose which boards to have the Music Player appear on as well as the Home Page.

Update; i found a bug for mobile "desktop" users.

When a user closes out to another app/puts their phone on sleep mode(black screen, but the phone is not off), the music will still play.
This won't happen for Mobile-mobile users, but i find Mobile-desktop more pleasing and use it myself, so the music that keeps playing even when im not on the homepage does bug me a little.

It's not a 'bug', it's an anomoly of how the sleep function works on a mobile device.. All it does is close the screen, the functions going on in the background continue, just as the forum is still open, it's just that screen has been turned off... Turn off the monitor connected to your PC and you'll still hear the music coming out of your speakers.

I have done some digging, and I can't find a true way of detecting the sleep function with JS. The blur() function is mentioned, so when the screen loses 'focus', a function could stop the music playing, but I don't think that works.

I set the music to play efter 10 sec, though I would like it to play imediately. I dont get a button to press regarding controls for the music player, instead I get this warning on my forum when the plugin is enabled:




I downloaded a version that allows me to add music to boards and subboards - as far as I could understand, theres also a version that does not allow me to do this and only plays music on the homepage?

Im looking for a way to have the music player only play music on a board of my choosing, but it seems like I am forced to have the music play on my homepage as well. Can I somehow get rid of the music on the homepage, while keeping it on the board? :-)
