Is it possible to totally delete the Calendar?

We have never found a use for it, and I wondered if I deleted the whole thing in css and where else? Would be break the site? Would it help with loading speeds? Would it make any difference?

Hi Newby

Easiest thing to do is to go to Admin Home > Settings > Forum Settings > Calendar and Disable the calendar.

Then go to Admin Home > Settings > Forum Settings > Navigation and untick the box, (or boxes) for the calendar, then it won't show up in your navigation bar.

Btw in V6 the calendar is being removed anyway. No date set for the launch of V6 at this stage.
