I have seen some of the worst rain I have ever seen within the past year and read about some of the worst floods I have ever read about too. Makes me very sad.
It is a reminder that Earth and all living species in it will be gone one day.

I think climate change is happening but not solely because of humans. Yes we should be good to the earth itβs our home however, I donβt believe itβs possible to reach zero emissions since every source of energy we know of creates waste in some way. Windmills are made of steel and steel production creates toxic waste, we are learning that solar panels contain toxic chemicals as well.

Just yesterday, my feet were flooded for the first time in my whole life when walking outside just to go to get the mail.

I live pretty far north in the U.S., and we've had temperatures near 100*F this summer.

I've been thinking about this question/issue for a while. At this point, no matter what North America (and apparently it isn't that much) and all of the other climate-concerned countries do, I just think it is the earth's time. I just think it is too late to do anything to change things back to pre-industrial times.
Here in New England, we are in drought conditions-not as bad as some of the country, but bad enough. All my trees and shrubs are shriveled and losing leaves to protect themselves. *sigh* It's going to be a poor leaf-peeping season this year, again.
