So I have a white cat, which his fur goes EVERYWHERE! I have to clean out my desktop computer every 2-4 weeks due to this. But also, I live on a farm, which we have a huge dirt field behind us for corn or soy beans, which every year it is dusty! (Currently Corn) So dust is flying everywhere too from those fields.
I like dark things, dark table, dark clothes, dark you name it, which shows the cat fur. I have an expensive air purifier. Does it's job really well, except it's overwhelming. My cat is a Siamese, despite combing him down daily, and being able to make a second cat out of it, he still sheds his fur everywhere. He is an inside cat. So although taking him outside, and brushing him down would be beneficial. He definitely doesn't like the outdoors.
So my question is. Is there anything I can get that will help attract both the dust and fur? I can clean and clean and clean til my hands are down to the bone. But it doesn't help. I usually spray Endust, which helps the dust and fur not stick to the table as much.
My clothes, surprisingly doesn't have any cat fur on it anymore. Only when I take him to the vet, does he shed like crazy and it gets all over my clothes. lol.
Despite him shedding fur, he doesn't have hair balls. Which is great! Just his fur LOVES going into corners, and getting sucked into AC window Unit, ceiling fan, floor fan, and computer fans. I don't know about the insides of my TV, or Monitors, or PS4/5. But, they seem to run fine.

If you find something that works, let me know. We have a husky/basset hound mix and we live in the Mojave desert, so hair and dust is a constant battle. When I was working, I would get dressed for work right before I left so I wouldn't have pet hair or dust on my clothes.

Yeah, exactly how it is! xD I can only find electrostatic gloves for blinds and what not. But otherwise, nothing that will actually work. Might have to get tons of air purifiers that pick up dust and fur! LOL. Mine gets so full of cat fur, I vacuum the filter, and its a big handful puffballs of a cat.

There are only 2 rooms in our house that have carpet because of all the hair. It's so much easier to take care of with tile floors. For your blinds, have you tried misting them with water before wiping? It keeps the hair from flying all around.

Omg, how I can so relate to the shedding and Dewey has medium length fur and 2 coats, a flat and a fluffy coat so you can only imagine my nightmare. However, I have found that using the furminator works perfectly but catch #2 is Dewey hates it. He's a senior now so he's a grumpy kitty now lol, he likes it until I hit certain spots then he gives me heck. lol

For your blinds, have you tried misting them with water before wiping? It keeps the hair from flying all around. When I had my two light-haired cats, I got in the habit of changing clothes before I left and once I got home. They've been 'gone' for a while now, but it's a habit I still do without even thinking about it. lol. Regarding floors, I always liked the carpet floors as walking though the house didn't kick up the hair and make it fly about as did the tiled kitchen/bathroom floors -- just had to keep it vacuumed.

I haven't found anything consistent yet, on fixing the cat fur issue. The main thing that seems to work, is enforcing having a room the cat doesn't come into, so that the fur doesn't go everywhere.

If you find something that works, let me know. We have a husky/basset hound mix and we live in the Mojave desert, so hair and dust is a constant battle. When I was working, I would get dressed for work right before I left so I wouldn't have pet hair or dust on my clothes. So after some considerable time with the air purifier, it works, REALLY well. Still fur everywhere, but it's ideal to the point where I can suck it up with a small vac with no problem. I vacuum up a nice hair ball on the filter. It has 1 big thin filter that captures all the dust, dander, and fur, then 2 other ones that collect germs and stuff. I can only imagine soon though. They will be taking down the corn within the next month or 2, and all that dust is gonna go everywhere from behind us. But otherwise, if you don't already, get an air purifier, a nice sized one too. If you can! Mine was 200 at Menards (I don't know if you have one of those, it's like Lowes, Home Depot, or any store like that) There is also a bigger one for almost the same price on Amazon. That collects a lot more. Mine is for a medium-large room. But our room is kinda small.

Please take that furr and make a pillow out of it learn to recycle. I have thought about it many times, just saving it and giving it to my sister in-law for her to make me a pillow or quilt. lol There are people who do save all their pet fur to have someone knit them a sweater or tuque out of it so that they can always have them in their memories.

Slightly OT, not cat fur but dog hair. A neighbour of mines used to live on quit a small boat with a massive dog. Part husky part wolf but tame as a mouse. Beautiful creature but when it got hot it molted enough to stuff a futon. Gaffer/duct tape is a good way to get it off soft furnishings and cloths. Doesn't work so well on food or beer.
