There's still a wider internet to explore. The only thing it requires is the release of one's comfort zone. If anything, exploration of the net should be encourage if we do not want to end up in a world where Facebook holds a monopoly over the greater world wide web. Though right now a lot of the people who have grown tired of the unsavory people on social media seemingly yearns for a return to the days of message boards which could spark a revival. Small business still have their own websites. There are still other communities on the web that exist and will continue to exist. This may call for an exit from a greater population, but when such a population is 95% toxicity then it would behoove anyone to make the escape.

It's a little smaller than it normally was moons ago, here in Canada anyway. Laws and rules to the web world got stiffer and there's a lot more people attracted to the dark web now a days. A lot of the places I knew of have either disappeared of the web completely or upgraded to something better and some sites were taken over by a new owner and ruined to no avail making people hightail it to something better. I think for many reasons may seem small to some while much bigger to others, it all depends on that person and where you live. Things have changed as well as some people just hate change and some adapt very well to change. Exactly how I feel, myspace back in the day was such a fun way to customize your profile and express yourself now since Facebook basically took over it's just who has the larger following. Some with YouTube I feel like most people focus on social media, YouTube, maybe a few reddits and that's about it. As the internet gets larger it just feels like the only thing useful are a handful of websites everyone checks out. For smaller buissnes it's hard to trust their legitimacy so you have to pretty much stick with what's well known. I guess that's just how life is now. Take a gamble on smaller things such as mass produce cheap objects you get what you get but I've actually ordered cheap stuff that turns out to be pretty useful. The internet is just social media, news and videos anymore nothing really out there that catches me eyes and think I want to really get into it. My nieces get it but only because they were born into a different era than I was, to me some of the stuff they know on the computer is way more technical than I can figure out, even my brother gets confugalled and they're his kids. lol I really don't want to the person that quits something because of change, giving up on something to me is liking giving up on life because I didn't like the new. lol I don't want to stop learning and I don't want to stop having fun while doing it, making it a positive thing is what makes learning in todays world, fun. Google cleaned their web site out of all the riffraff, I like it that way. Let the riffraff hangout at the dark web if they want all their illegal stuff advertised, the police are watching them there anyways. Although, Canada has added a few extra rules to our access when it comes illegal activity which is awesome, I must appreciate that because there was too much "stuff" being leaked from the dark web some of it even leaked into you tube and I saw things I can't unsee. I can by right say, I seriously hate the dark web.
