Hello everyone! I figured I'd start a thread where we can all talk about our day. Whether it be something light and simple, accomplishments you made, or venting your daily frustrations, feel free to have at it! I'll start.

Today has been a long and simple one for me. I'm recently getting over a cold, and started out the day with a pretty bad headache. This went away throughout the day, but still made things a bit rough at first. After working through the day, I decided to work some more on my forum along with my moderating duties on reddit. Then me and my SO watched our shows and spent the rest of the night together. All in all, it's been a good day; not very eventful, but good nonetheless.

How are you feeling? I hope your cold has left you alone by now. You deserve to feel better. Will you be celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow? I'm working from home right now. My pet tortoise is in his room smacking his shell against his walls. He's trying to summon me to get extra food.

Hi Cade! I have grown to love "uneventful" days.

I'm going to my sister's today for Thanksgiving supper. I think this is the first time I've done my hair and make-up since last Christmas and I'm definitely out of practice. I forgot which order I used to put my products in to get my hair to look right and now I'm going to Thanksgiving looking like Hermione! (It's a tricky science, man. My hair is crazy and picky about what goes in it.) Oh well. It's always just a few of us anyway.

I have an hour and a half before I leave, so I suppose I'm gonna go get my daily doodle in. I'm on Day 10 of a challenge to draw every day for 100 days. Both of the friends I started with have tapped out already, so it's just me carrying the torch. What to draw?

There is about 2" of fresh snow on the ground here. I took out my little compact and drove to the store. I took it because it is two and a half times better on gas than my big 4X4. I was fish tailing and was afraid to hit the brakes. By the time I got home I had made up my mind.

Irregardless of the gas prices, I am driving my 4X4 for the duration of the winter!

Good morning ,I have a lot to catch up on and even though it says I'm a new member it's just the old woman ,well middle aged one who had two beautiful budgies ,lives her tea and whose day started two days ago technically ,yes I've been awake all night ,the sunrise this morning or what I caught of it was beautiful and the birds are waking up or have been for an hour or so ,not mine sadly .although one of my budgies will be awake the other one passed away .
Pink is in her original home where she was born and has a new ,well tech no ically no her first boyfriend at she 6 !!.
Yes I'm talking about a budgie !!.
Pink was wanting to fly more and missed poor Floyd and with my health worsening a little things were a bit difficult so I made the tough choi E but the right one ,to ask my dad's mate who I bought pink and Floyd from to take pink va K ,she's very happy apparently and probably does not miss me !! Well maybe misses me a little !.
My day has been great so far I won't go into how the nifht was ,just will say I didn't think it was possible to have more of pain in than I already had but no oh yes we it's possible plus a sinus infection too and swollen feet !. But otherwise I'm wonderful truly !!!. I didn't mention what the extra pain is from because I've already whinged too much
I'm grateful for the weekend and for the sun and my family oh and tea !.

bigballofyarn , I am feeling much better now! Thanksgiving was a good day for me, despite a bunch of rainy weather. I got to see family I hadn't seen in a while, so that was nice.

Chani I agree, "uneventful" days are simple and make you appreciate life. And good luck with your drawing challenge!

wildmaven I'm terribly sorry to hear that. Losing family is never easy, and I can't imagine the pain you're feeling having lost both parents so close together. I too extend my deepest condolences to you and your family through this rough time.
