People that had Pfizer then got sick?

I apologize for beating a dead horse with this, I know we're finally starting to ease up on the fright over the virus and things are getting back to normal. I decided to finally get my shot at the start of January I've had neighbors and friends that still got sick after all their boosters and what not (I'm meaning + test results from COVID test strips). They said it wasn't as bad with the vaccine. I'm just wondering how you felt after getting the shot then sick again. Light symptoms? Had the ability to move around any noticable differences?

I got covid even with my shots-the reason to get the shot was my age and health status. Had I not gotten the shots, I probably would have been dead. With the shot, I merely had trouble with my hearing for a couple of months. And even that went away. I got my booster this year, and I move around without a mask everywhere. No problems on my end.

First shot wasn't too bad for me, mostly just felt tired.

Second shot definitely did a number on me. I was in bed for about three days, fever symptoms, no energy to eat or do anything. But after those few days, I quickly regained composure and have been literately fine since. That was two years ago when I got it too.

Like any vaccine, you might experience mild side effects that will be unpleasant. But just power through and know that while you may not be immune to COVID or any other viruses, you're in better shape to fight it off in the future.

I got flu-like symptoms/side-effects after getting the second and third shots last year. These side-effects went away after a day or so. My dad got COVID boosters two years ago, but got tested positive at the start of November. We waited for two weeks until he got better. So far he's doing fine.

I had moderna and was ok with just chills overnight for both of them. My wife had Pfizer and was down for the whole weekend all 3 shots. She ended up getting COVID after her 3rd shot though and barely had any symptoms; it felt like a mild cold to her.

I got Pfizer three times. First time no flu effect, only my arm ached. The second and the third time I had an annoying headache and flu-like symptoms such as a runny nose and a mild cough. So I only took ibuprofen, fortunately got it from canada pharmacy beforehand. And the flu symptoms didn't last long, so I got back to normal after about two-three days.

I've had all of the shots and boosters that I could get. I'm not sure which company they were, but aside from a sore arm, nothing happened.

When my family did catch COVID, it was literally a matter of hours. I slept for 24 hours straight and was fine. My kids had random symptoms for 24 hours and were fine. My wife was sick for a couple of months pretty bad, but she has several autoimmune conditions. And if she had not gotten everything available, she would probably have died.

We are a total vaccination family and it works.

Vaccines were never going to make it so that you are completely immune to the virus. They never do. A vaccine's purpose is to prepare your immune system to fight any infections from the bodily intruders. This may involve feeling symptoms of the virus for not only COVID-19 but other illness for which a vaccine was developed to treat. Vaccines are not a permanent endeavor since the effects slowly and gradually diminish over a course of time. This is why boosters are made and why medical health practitioners encourage patients and the public to get a booster shot regularly.

It's amazing to me that so many horrible diseases (viruses) have been wiped out (or very nearly) due to required vaccinations when we were very young.

It's not all that impossible to get these I don't live in fear over getting sick but I was just curious how well it made people feel, I know plenty of people that got COVID after getting the vaccine I've had friends say it just felt like a settle cold to them or mearly a headache.

As mentioned earlier, it doesn't mean you won't get them.  But it can help keep you and other safe.

This message is for everyone. My recommendation is to do what is medically safest for you. Don't base your opinion on the horror stories or success stories of others. I've had close friends have both extremes - from feeling nothing to having a heart attack. I respect you whether or not you want to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Trust your body and your doctors and do what is best for your health without any outside influence.
