Hi I'm currently having spam posts on forum, then having to delete member (4 of them) then go through messages separately to delete takes time. Is there an easier way by deleting member and all posts they created?
Thanks
W

Thanks W You can use the "Forum Cleanup" tool in your admin panel (admin > security > forum cleanup) for posts and any personal messages. You'd still have to manually delete the accounts, though if they have the same approximate amount of posts, similar names, and/or the same register date, you can navigate to the members list and use that to delete them by selecting them -- I don't 100% suggest this because there's a chance they might not be listed together.

I know I got ninja'd by Kami, but posting anyway... wayneishere - Make sure to remove the posts (instructions following) BEFORE deleting the member's account. You can remove posts en masse with the Forum Cleanup tool. (Admin > Security > Forum Cleanup) Use the following criteria: Find all the...1. Select Posts. Do NOT select threads started. 2. Select By Specific Member. When selected, a member search box appears. Type in the spammer-member username and choose the correct member. 3. Leave the default tick for Everywhere4. Click the button for Calculate Total. This will tell you how many posts are going to be deleted. You then have 2 confirmations to complete to proceed with the deletion. Note: Before starting, look at the spammer-member's post count, so when you reach Step 4, the posts found for deletion should match their profiles post count.Caution: this action is permanent. Deleted posts cannot be restored. After the posts are deleted, you can delete the member via their profile or via the Member's list. Please let us know if you have any questions.
