Seems to be a lot of products that only come out during certain seasons. October is all about pumpkin flavors, March is all about mint. Every so often we see new drinks claiming it be limited runs. Have you came across anything lately that was actually good? I quite enjoyed the new Dr.Pepper strawberries and cream as well as peeps Pepsi which was basically Marshmellow flavored Pepsi if you hate peeps don't let the combination fool you it's worth a try. Any foods? Well taco bell had a few that hit different I can't remember the name but it had melted cheese in a taco. I guess we grow tired of the same old and new always catches our eyes.

Naming something "limited edition" is the best way to create demand. If you fear something will run out or disappear, you go and buy it as quickly as possible. I like the seasonal flavors you mentioned, but I also know I can buy them from different stores during the rest of the year. As far as the limited edition fast food items, I may try something new if it sounds appealing, but I won't buy it only because it's new. Most of these items can be made at any time during the year. When I worked at Taco Bell, we always had all the ingredients for discontinued items. So, it someone wanted something that was discontinued, I could still put it in the register in a way in which they could buy it.

This practice is the same for many fast food areas, they may have it but chances will be they'll say no we can't make it. Technically of our foods stay the same ingredients wise if you think about it.

Jim lives for the seasonal McRib sandwich. I'm usually excited when Baskin Robbins brings out their pumpkin ice cream. Other than that, I can't think of anything else.

I sold so many Cheesy Gordita Crunches for years before it returned to the menu. By the time it returned, I was long gone.
