A forum member's Internet Provider was recently bought by another firm and now that he tries to log in he gets a message :
The owner of this website (login.proboards.com) has banned your IP address (54.198.157.194).
Can someone please share a solution to this issue? The member has not been banned by admin on our forum so any help would appreciated.

kharold - I'm showing that IP as being a VPN or Proxy. Please verify this with the member and if so, ask them to access the forum with it disabled.

kharold- the IP in the error message above is not listed as belonging to Brightspeed

Thank you for the quick response, I just emailed him to contact Brightspeed to see if they are using a VPN. He told me earlier he doesn't have a VPN on his end so it must hi new provider.
