Forum URL: (private) When I make a new post I get this pop up window that says: "The current thread numbers do not match. Please click OK to reset them." Can anybody help me get it to stop popping up? Members and staff both see it after posting a thread. (I was playing around with plugins... could that be the culprit? Couldn't find much about it) I have also attached an image

I would disable all plugins, then re-enable them one by one, checking after each re-enable if the error message appears.

An excerpt from the support thread for the Recently Updated Threads Sidebar plugin The plugin attempts to keep track of the next thread number by counting them as they are created, but because of that it can also loose count if threads are made in quick succession by different members, if the plugin is deactivated while new threads are created, or if threads are created using the mobile app. If the cause of the pop-up is one of those reasons, then there's nothing I can do I'm afraid.. New thread numbers are not available until after they are created, but it will be fixed as soon as there is one. All that pop-up does is force a mouse click by the thread creator to correct thread ID in the key, once clicked everything should be good until the numbers are misaligned again due to one of the reasons I posted above. There is a function coming [1] that should hopefully stop that, and as soon as it's available I'll re-write the plugin to make use of it, but until then all I can do is apologise for the inconvenience.
