Forum URL: (private)
Hi there! I just created a new forum this week and one of my members is having issues editing her profile. She currently has no access to any of the profile tabs (Avatar, Personal, Social, Setting, Privacy, Notification, Badges). They show up, but she can't click on them to edit her preferences. Is there anything I can do on my end to fix this issue for her?
I read on a separate help thread about this issue that sometimes custom themes can cause this problem. I have since removed the custom theme and gone back to the default, but is there anything else I can change?

Hi One thing i can think of that may cause that to happen is if they have javascript disabled, or something blocking the javascript from loading/executing. When they are on the edit profile page, does it have a message about javascript being disabled at all? Craig

Thanks for your reply! I don't believe so, nothing happens at all when she clicks on the tabs, and there are no pop-up messages.
She is currently based in China. Would this have anything to do with the way the forum performs for her?

cott I deleted the custom theme I downloaded from the library and reverted back to the original default forum theme, but she's still having the same issues.

jmark - • It could be location related. • It could be their computing environment (browser used, add-ons/extensions, any security apps) Have they tried a different browser?

Scott Thanks for the troubleshooting suggestions. Yes, they tried in a different browser but that didn't work. They're currently using Chrome and checked their privacy/block settings, but Proboards has not been blocked. Should we try making a new account for this member?

jmark - Have them try clearing their browser's cache/cookies as a starting point. (Note: This will log them out of any site they are logged in to.) It's not account related so creating a new account would not make a difference.

Scott@cmdynasty Update: I just learned the user is getting this pop-up message when she tries to click on any of the 'Edit Profile' tabs. Does that mean JavaScript is disabled and she needs to go to her Chrome settings to enable, or is JavaScript incompatible for her?
