Had to look it up out of curiosity.  I don't mind morbid jokes, but that wasn't even an attempt at a joke. Yeah, just nasty wasn't it.

Was never a friends fan.  But I did enjoy his small spell in The West Wing and thought it a shame he wasn't in there over a longer period.

Yes the SNL writer is so insensitive -- that is just plain mean to his family and friends. Very distasteful.
