It's extremely rare that I watch anything on YouTube. Nine times out of ten I'm only watching something because I followed a link. For the final one-tenth it'll be one of the following:

- Last Week Tonight (John Oliver)

- [REMOVED] (guns) (Edit: It has recently come to my attention that the star of this channel is a massive transphobe. In fact, he's insufferable in practically every possible way. I'm not going to endorse the channel, so I've removed it from my list.)

- Watcher (Ryan Bergara and Shane Medaj's current channel)

I used to watch Bedtime Stories years ago, but fell out of the habit.

Love all of those! They just had a new Jeff Dunham special on TV last month for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, no Achmed. My husband does a great Walter impression, haha. 

Have you seen Iliza Shlesinger? She's hilarious.

I saw Ron White live in Las Vegas years ago and his full act is so much better than what they show in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. 

If you like gaming YouTubers, you should check out CallMeKevin. His commentary is hilarious!

Jon Bois (who now works for SB Nation) made a 13-episode series called "Pretty Good" tells some really fascinating stories about all kinds of bizarre things. Several are sports-related, but they also span topics as diverse as lawn chair flights, professional poker, the TV show 24, and dumb internet arguments. His current series is called "Chart Party" and is focused exclusively on sports, including a few multi-hour series that tell the woeful tale of perpetually-doomed sports franchises like the Seattle Mariners, Atlantic Falcons, and Minnesota Vikings. I made this playlist of my favorite Jon Bois videos.

I also like Emperor Lemon (or EmpLemon), who makes videos in a similar vein to Jon, and BobbyBroccoli, who makes in-depth videos about scientific scandals. Here's a more general playlist of some of my favorite long-form YouTube videos. (The first six videos overlap with the Jon playlist, but it gets diverse after that.)

Lately (mostly thanks to YT's recommendation algorithm) I've taken a minor interest in lost media and old internet oddities. If you're interested in that sort of stuff, I recommend checking out kylie boggly's channel.

Otherwise it's a lot of really niche stuff. For example, if you enjoy spending 15-25 hours watching someone play a very long story-based adventure game (like Life Is Strange, Night in the Woods, etc.), you won't find a better channel than Materwelonz. Summoning Salt is a channel that makes surprisingly compelling videos about the history of speed-running records for a lot of old video games. And TheRealJims is the perfect channel if you want to listen to a random person's in-depth opinions of minor Simpsons characters.

I watch the Proper People (they're a urban exploration channel), The Northwest Wind (a stealth camp channel), Techno Hobo (a hobo who documents his vagabond life), Planet with a Palate (a cooking channel), Ashens (does a few different things), Dark Exploration Films (another urban exploration channel), Jrose11 (A pokemon youtuber), and Scott's Thoughts (Another Pokemon Youtuber). That's just to name a few I watch more lol.

Exploring with Josh was one of the first Urban Exploration channels I subscribed too, been a while since I've watched his channel though. I used to watch Linus Tech Tips too, but stopped watching his channel in August with all the controversies that came out. But that's just my personal choice.

That's fine, I'm not going to let a bad few articles stop me from instantly liking someone just because a crowd wants to think on something they have no involvement in.
