My lack of knowledge,' Alan So just to confirm, where are you in the steps? - You've created the custom page, HAVE NOT added the table code - You've created the custom page, HAVE added the table code

I created the custom page. I selected HTML Removed what was in the empty page Copied and pasted the code into the empty page. Clicked SAVE Perfect, thank you for the description! When you created the custom page, you should have been presented with a pop-up that asked you to give the page name and ID (which i write as PAGEID here, obviously the ID is whatever you put in). You can find the URL to the page one of two ways: - Add /page/PAGEID to the end of your URL (so dragracing164size.freeforums.net/page/PAGEID) OR - If you navigate back to the list of custom pages, you'll see a link to the custom page in the "View Page" column. If you click this link, it will show you the page. You can use either of these two methods to obtain the URL of the page and view it. To add it to your menu, navigate to Admin > Settings > Forum Settings. Click the "Navigation" tab. This is a list of your menu items. At the bottom of the list is a button that says "Add Custom". Click that, and then add in your URL. My advice is just to add /page/PAGEID rather than the full URL, just in case you decide to spring for a custom domain in the future. Doing it this way will make it so that the browser automatically appends the URL of the page you're already on to the beginning of the link. Does this help?

I went back to the CUSTOM PAGES and looked at the SETTINGS. In the settings I see the following:
Title - - - Pancake Division Rules which I did enter earlier
ID - - - - - pancake-division-rul
Homepage - - YES NO No is selected
Frankly I am lost from there.

Got it. If the ID you provided is pancake-division-rul (check the spelling on that?) then the URL should be: /page/pancake-division-rulTake that, and following the directions to go to Admin > Settings > Forum Settings, click the "Navigation" tab, and click "Add Custom" to add the link to your list. /page/pancake-division-rul is a valid path so you don't need to have the first part (the forumurl.proboards.com whatever) in front of it. Does this make sense? Additionally, if you CLICK the lD on the custom page list, it will open a new tab or window showing you the page. Screenshot below with an arrow to indicate the link. If you click on your version of this, then you'll be directed to the page you created.

OK - it worked! I just need to study it now so I understand why and how it is functioning. What was getting me off was that when I went to the navigation to setup a custom name it was showing an http:// in the box. Got it now!
Next step for me will be to create another table for INLINES and set that up.
I sure do appreciate every thing you have done for me. I wish the world had more like you!
Thank you so very much!
Best regards - Alan

Best regards - Alan Ah, yeah, the default field has the https:// automatically added by the software ... I'm not entirely sure why, but I'm going to guess it has to do with the fact that a majority of users are unaware that they can skip the "main" part of a URL and just leave the path if the link goes to the same site. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do -- beyond this point I think a PM here on support instead of a new thread would be best since you'd be asking for support for something I custom made for you (if you get a pop up saying not to PM me for support, feel free to ignore me since I'm saying here that it's OK).
