Adjust Last Post text message

The Last Post title text takes up way too much space and messes up the layout by vertically stretching the box it is in.
Is there any solution for this? Maybe fixed box height and drastically reduce font size or not show message at all?

What would be your preference?

Another option is to get rid of title of the topic and just have the author and the date.

1. The following should completely hide the topic title in the last post column
   

   • Code:

td.latest.last a.thread-link, td.latest.last a.thread-link+br {
   display:none;

2. If you wish to retain the topic title so you can identify which thread has actually been updated then you might want to limit the topic title to a single line which will be truncated if it goes beyond that single line
