Can PB suppoert techs read all Boards at someone's forum, regardless of how strict permissions are set?
For example, lets say I set permissions to one of my Boards to a custom setting of "God", meaning only I even know it exists, can PB support techs still see it and read it?

Bob - Yes, but employees of ProBoards only. No other moderators, or Support Helpers are able to. Now just to add some additional clarification, do ProBoards employees actively seek out and read the boards. NO. The Abuse Team will access a forum solely for the purpose of investigating reported TOS violations. Similarly, ProBoards Support Techs, including myself, will access a forum only as necessary to provide technical support.

To add detail, this can be beneficial. I have a section of my forum that only I can access. When ProBoards suffered a DDoS attack, a few posts were made on my forum by the attacker, and I saved them in that hidden board. I advised the admins here that I saved the posts. The higher ups were able to access that board and use information in those posts to assist them in remedying the situation, along with all the other information they collected from other sources. However, no, they don't actively look at the private or hidden sections of my forum, no matter how BFF we are.
On the opposite side of the token, just because the higher ups don't actively seek out content in private or hidden boards, doesn't give anyone a one up over the ToS. This goes for anyone who thinks they can hide content they know is violating. I'm not accusing you of doing this. I'm just putting it out there in case anyone is reading. No one should put their forum at risk like that.

I assumed you guys had to have the ability to read everything, but potential abuse by PB employees is not what I was getting at.
On the contrary, the other week I was exploring naming an admin successor when I wondered why there was not an option to simply direct PB what to do with a forum in case the admin went absent. Thinking about it though, I realize that PB probably would not want to get into that level of forum involvement, for quite a number of reasons.
Okay, so nevermind. Thanks for answering.

You can set up a "will" or succession agreement for your forum. support.proboards.com/board/185/succession-agreementsI created very detailed instructions regarding my forum should I die, should both my next in line and I die, if we go to jail, and so forth. The terms of the agreement are up to you - whether you want your forum deleted, put in maintenance mode for all of eternity, or something else.

Bob - as bigballofyarn pointed out we have the Succession Agreement option (read more about it here: link). The link bigballofyarn provided is where you go to initiate the Agreement. We attach the Agreement internally to the forum's database, and that Agreement can only be accessed by a ProBoards employee. This mitigates the risk of any unauthorized changes to the Agreement by a forum user.
