GIMP Help!

Alright, well now I need GIMP help. I have no idea what any of those symbols mean, I don't know how to do... anything, lol.

I just wanna learn how to:

-crop
-layer images
-cut things out of one image and put them on another
-add borders
-add text
-resize

Can GIMP do that for me? Sorry if this is spam or something, since I already have another thread relating to image support.

i would pretty much gaurentee that gimp can do all that

Alright! I will post if I need further help, I am pretty... for lack of better word, not smart when it comes to computer programs.
