Where do I find out about Member Count (not post count) number updating - when a member leaves, how soon should one expect the figures to be adjusted?

If a member deletes themself and the member count doesn't adjust accordingly, just go into the admin area, and click "Recount Members".

It's never been automatic as far as I'm aware.. I'm not sure why either.

Well I discounted 'cookies' but maybe that might be a ? to add to FAQs? unless its already there in the volumes of course.
