narrowing forum width

Hi,

I tried the code that was posted here to narrow the width of our forum and it did not work. We have a side bar and a shout box on the side so maybe thats why it is not working? Any help would be appreciated! Board url is on my sig, ty.

Looks to me like the page is quite narrow but the welcome box at the top is not.

Okay took banner off and still have same problem, any other ideas??

Try adding a copy of the forum width code in your Global Header too

Ok tried this too, at many diff sizes and no change!

Looks smaller to me now. Probably because the size of your Menu Buttons

Is there a code to put them back on 2 lines like V3 was?? I appreciate your help, ty.

After which button do you want them to be split?

I would like 4 and 4 if possible, makes it look even then.

Thanks so much for your help, I took the sidebar off and shoutbox and I think that was my problem. Trying to redo it all now, ugh!
