Hi again, catalyticsubterfuge. 7 days have passed. We have determined that ownership is now eligible to be transferred. We'll be contacting the remaining admin of the forum first before advancing down the line of succession.

Hi, nancyalvarado. If a user is listed in the member list and you can access their profile that suggests that they weren't deleted, as deleting a user would mean that neither of those would be the case. You can view a log of member deletions in Security > Security Log in your forum's admin area by clicking on the All Logs dropdown and selecting Member Logs > Deletes.

I understand that this might need to be moved to the Coding section of PBS, but I have to ask you to please not do that because I really need help on this! I actually have a few threads in that section that have yet to be replied to and it's been months. I understand the reason you've posted this in the Support Board, but that doesn't change the fact that the Support Board is specifically for technical support and not design help. We simply do not have the time to fix every template issue that gets posted which is why ProBoards admin participation in the Coding & Development category is on a voluntary basis. Diagnosing template issues ends up taking incredibly long not just because we have to identify the cause of the problem, but because we also have to sort through code that more often than not ends up not being formatted in the most ideal manner (there's a reason the editor automatically indents the next line after an HTML tag has been opened—indented code blocks are more readable than all of the tags bunched together since you can identify ancestors and children at just a glance). I personally visit the boards in the Coding & Development category multiple times throughout my work day, but if a coding issue takes more time than I have available my other obligations will unfortunately take precedence.

Hi, mirandashell. It's difficult to say without seeing something like a screenshot of the actual warning they received to confirm whether it's something from their antivirus software or a false warning potentially produced in their browser by an advertisement. I would ask them to clarify with more specific details or provide a screenshot if it happens again.

I'm assuming you tried to enter a URL into the custom page's ID field when creating it. The purpose of that field is to give a unique identifier to the page to be used in its URL. For example, if you give it the ID home the path to your custom page will be /page/home.
Once you have a custom page created you can change the forum's home page in Settings > Forum Settings.

Hi, jimpate38. The forum's homepage can only be set as either the standard index page or a custom page created in Structure > Custom Pages. It's not possible to set the Recent Threads page as the homepage. You can add a widget to a custom page to display a list of recent threads but that's the closest you can get.

I linked to the plugin's support thread in my previous post which should get you in direct contact with its author.

In all seriousness weareallone the identity of the source of any DDOS attacks isn't usually disclosed publicly as it's only relevant to our systems team since they're responsible for identifying and blocking it. And that's assuming the source is a notable entity to begin with.

Hi, Bob K. Visiting the broken image links directly leads to a 404 page, suggesting that the images are no longer hosted on that domain. You would need to reacquire the images and reupload them to the domain.

This question would probably be better posed to the Discord community as its feasibility will depend entirely on an existing Discord bot's capabilities. The forum's only role in this is to have an existing RSS feed.
One thing worth noting is that anything external that attempts to access the RSS feed will only see posts that are normally visible to unregistered users. The contents of the RSS feed reflect the account you're currently viewing the forum as, so if you're visiting as a guest (which any bot will be since they can't log into any accounts) you won't see anything that's restricted to registered users.

Hi, blod. This is actually a built-in feature in the current version of ProBoards. When editing a board's settings in Structure > Categories & Boards go into the Settings tab and find the field called Redirect URL. Enter the link you'd like the board to go to in that field. Upon saving your changes that board should now redirect to the link you specified rather than its contents. Note that while a redirect board can still hold threads its contents will be completely inaccessible to anyone who isn't the forum's main admin, so redirecting to a thread or post contained within a redirect board unfortunately doesn't work.

There's a very specific kind of cable that feels softer to the touch than the ones that tend to last. Those are the ones that seem most susceptible in my experience. I had plenty of those when my iPod was still alive but my most recent device to come with a cable of that description is the charger for my Surface Pro. I am deathly afraid of handling that cable improperly because the device is basically Microsoft's take on a high-end iPad, so naturally all of the peripherals are way more expensive than they need to be. I see electrical tape in my future.
