Hi, @smithj.
I'm not able to duplicate this. Can you let us know which web browser you're using?

Hi, catalyticsubterfuge. The passing of a forum admin will need to be confirmed by a link to an obituary notice before any action is taken. In addition, we'll need a link to the forum in question.

Hi, Akadeanna Hawk. The number of accounts that shows per page was doubled recently. If you had 19 pages previously you should have around 10 pages now.

If you were able to successfully complete your purchase that means that the custom domain is already in place. You can visit your domain to confirm.
Both your original ProBoards URL and the custom domain URL will both continue working at the same time, but any logins on the ProBoards URL get redirected to your custom domain.

This is possible but I wouldn't recommend a plugin allowing people to embed objects at will as this opens the door to a lot of vulnerabilities.

Hi, JJ. Once you've pointed your domain's nameservers to us you need to purchase the custom domain linking service in Upgrades > Custom Domains in your admin area. You can do so by clicking on I have an existing domain name and then filling out the form under the I'm ready, let's continue! heading.

I still don't know exactly what you're doing, but you didn't say anything in my post was incorrect so I'm just gonna roll with it. The layout templates can kinda do what you're looking to accomplish, but there's a catch: the link must always render regardless of whether or not the fields are filled out. Something like this would work (where Test is the link and Test2 is the display text) but I wouldn't really recommend it on account of how messy it is to maintain. If the fields aren't filled out the above link will render on the page as this: If you just need this information in the mini-profile and nowhere else the Custom Mini-Profile Creator plugin actually has a way to circumvent both of these problems and only requires you to add a few lines to the very end of Themes > Layout Templates > Mini-Profile. Outside of the mini-profiles you'd need Javascript to do it, though.

Can you clarify what you mean by looking directly for a custom field? I'm assuming you're attempting to render a combination of two custom fields in a layout template.

Hi, saltin. If the designer is proficient in HTML, CSS, and Javascript the layout template system should be fairly straightforward to them as most of the things unique to it (variables, if statements, foreach loops) are common in Javascript. There's unfortunately no official guide on theme design for ProBoards v5 so I wouldn't be able to recommend any resources outside of what's already defined in the help guide. The theme functionality in the admin area of v6 is still a work in progress so we're not able to estimate a difficulty level for converting themes from v5 to v6 at this time.

If you want to change the URL of the forum that appears in the address bar (nlou.proboards.com) that will cost $9.99 USD. If you just want to change the forum's title that shows at the top of the page you can do that in Settings > Forum Settings.
The $2.99 ad-free payment grants you ProBoards+, a service that gives ad-free to your global account. With PB+ you won't see any of the ProBoards banner ads regardless of which ProBoards forum you visit. However, anyone else who visits your forum is still going to see ads on it since PB+ only applies to your account.

Hi, harguthm. More information is required to help us debug this issue. What's the link to the forum you were posting on? What board or thread were you posting in? What time did you create those posts?

Hi, tchu-tcha. first question: if i do subscribe does it mean that add bar will go off my page? Yes. Second question: before subscription for addfree should i change the name in http: line? Your forum's URL has no bearing on your ad-free status. There is no need to change it if all you want is to browse ProBoards ad-free.

Hi, wingnut0290. Are you logged into the main admin account of the forum? If you're not the main admin or are logged into an account that's part of the Administrator group you may not have this permission as the main admin must allow for the Administrator group to access certain powers. They can change a group's powers via Members > Member Groups in the admin area.
