UPDATED April 30th:We have made some changes to our system and would like to know if anyone is still experiencing this issue. Thanks for any input.
Some users have reported problems loading forums. We are trying to determine the exact cause of the issue. If you are having this problem, please post the following information for us to review: PLEASE INCLUDE ALL INFORMATION1) Please fully describe exactly what the problem you are experiencing is. 2) What browser are you using? 3) What version number is it? Usually under the help section of your browser there will be an "About Internet Explorer" or "About Firefox" link which will bring up the version number. For example, I am posting using Internet Explorer version 8.0.6001.18372 4) Do you use any anti-virus software? If so what type including version number? 5) Are you attempting to access the forum via a bookmark? If so: 5.1) Go into your Manage Bookmarks section of your browser and copy the exact URL that is bookmarked and paste it as your reply for 5.1. 5.2) After you open this bookmark in your browser, what does the URL say at the top of your browser when it is looping (copy and paste it exactly please)? 5.3) Try deleting the bookmark and typing in the URL to the forum manually. Are you able to access the forum this way? Thank you for your help in tracking this issue down. Patrick Clinger

1) Please fully describe exactly what the problem you are experiencing is. On attempting to login in to greyhoundscene.proboards.com/index.cgi? the screen continually refreshes/loops and whilst i could get a few key entries onto the id/password screen it refreshes again quickly thus making the site unavailable to me. I have spoken with Admin for this site and he advised that he could access via XP but not Vista. My machine is also running Vista. 2) What browser are you using? IE 7 3) What version number is it? Usually under the help section of your browser there will be an "About Internet Explorer" or "About Firefox" link which will bring up the version number. For example, I am posting using Internet Explorer version 8.0.6001.18372 Sorry cannot find that information. 4) Do you use any anti-virus software? If so what type including version number? Yes i se Norton 360, V1.3.3.5 5) Are you attempting to access the forum via a bookmark? Yes If so: 5.1) Go into your Manage Bookmarks section of your browser and copy the exact URL that is bookmarked and paste it as your reply for 5.1. greyhoundscene.proboards.com/index.cgi?5.2) After you open this bookmark in your browser, what does the URL say at the top of your browser when it is looping (copy and paste it exactly please)? greyhoundscene.proboards.com/index.cgi?5.3) Try deleting the bookmark and typing in the URL to the forum manually. Are you able to access the forum this way? No Hopefully that all helps Kev

I have the same problem. Yesterday I upgraded my Vista machine from IE7 to IE8 and the problem started. Uninstalling IE8 did not cure it. My XP machinnes work ok. Any help appreciated.

1) Please fully describe exactly what the problem you are experiencing is. Refreshes nonstop, I can't even scroll down to another section I've had this problem before with a couple of proboard sites, but when i bought a new computer it stopped. Now it's happening again but very badly with this one specific site.2) What browser are you using? IE3) What version number is it? Usually under the help section of your browser there will be an "About Internet Explorer" or "About Firefox" link which will bring up the version number. 7.0.5730.134) Do you use any anti-virus software? If so what type including version number? AVG Free 8.5 5) Are you attempting to access the forum via a bookmark? YESIf so: 5.1) Go into your Manage Bookmarks section of your browser and copy the exact URL that is bookmarked and paste it as your reply for 5.1. adminlottie.proboards.com/index.cgi?5.2) After you open this bookmark in your browser, what does the URL say at the top of your browser when it is looping (copy and paste it exactly please)? adminlottie.proboards.com/index.cgi?5.3) Try deleting the bookmark and typing in the URL to the forum manually. Are you able to access the forum this way? www.adminlottie.proboards.com/ when i typed it in like this it doesn't refresh at all, should i change the bookmark to take out the index part maybe?

Some users have reported problems loading forums. We are trying to determine the exact cause of the issue. If you are having this problem, please post the following information for us to review: PLEASE INCLUDE ALL INFORMATION1) Please fully describe exactly what the problem you are experiencing is. The page keeps flicking and refreshing itself every second or so, will stop when I hit the "stop" button, I can then enter my log in information - then it seems to be fine after that. However; this was not the case yesterday - every time I tried clicking on a board link, it would start to go, then refresh back to the main page. I'm the admin of the board, and it seems as though many of my members are having the same issue.2) What browser are you using? IE73) What version number is it? Usually under the help section of your browser there will be an "About Internet Explorer" or "About Firefox" link which will bring up the version number. For example, I am posting using Internet Explorer version 8.0.6001.18372 7.0.6001.180004) Do you use any anti-virus software? If so what type including version number? Windows Live One Care (no idea what version)5) Are you attempting to access the forum via a bookmark? Yes - unrealtv.proboards101.com/If so: 5.1) Go into your Manage Bookmarks section of your browser and copy the exact URL that is bookmarked and paste it as your reply for 5.1. 5.2) After you open this bookmark in your browser, what does the URL say at the top of your browser when it is looping (copy and paste it exactly please)? unrealtv.proboards.com/index.cgi?5.3) Try deleting the bookmark and typing in the URL to the forum manually. Are you able to access the forum this way? YES! I'll let my members know that deleting their bookmark and re-adding it may fix their problem.Thank you for your help in tracking this issue down. 1) Please fully describe exactly what the problem you are experiencing is. The main (home) page and any page where I need to put in a password are reloading constantly. Once I get into a thread, it stops doing it.
2) What browser are you using? IE 7.0.5730.11 It seems to be an IE poblem only, but I'm a member of four proboards forums, and it's only this one doing it.
3) What version number is it? 7.0.5730.11
4) Do you use any anti-virus software? If so what type including version number? AVG 8.5.287
5) Are you attempting to access the forum via a bookmark? No, actually, I'm not. I type it in fresh every time. Also, I do use .proboards.com instead of .proboards#.com.
Thank you!

I have a bookmark to one of the hidden boards, but no bookmark to the home page.
