I created a special board within a section of our Forum for the use of a specific staff member. My intent was to limit posting to the staff member and so I chose that setting for the board. Yet, the staff member found no option to post. Aside from the possibility that he was not logged in, what could I be doing wrong (or what additional setting do I need to change) that's preventing him from posting? I've temporarily allowed everyone to post to get around the issue for now. knytetrypper.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=videos

It's a board? Go back and check if you hit yes on, "Disable Posting,".

Hi Could you set it up how you had it, and link me to the member's profile who is having the issue.

You have that member is a group 'codemaster', however, that group is not set to be staff. Go into modify groups in your admin area and check that setting

Go into modify groups in your admin area and check that setting Okay, I thought it might be something like that because this sort of thing has happened before. The odd thing is that when you search members and select "View Staff Members" people with the codmaster designation show up on that list. knytetrypper.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=members&view=staffAlthough I'm the Admin, I see "No options available" under Member Groups because I inherited the board when the original owner died. I don't have the password.

Ah, yeah, unfortunately, that's a main admin only option Would it work giving him the moderator rank? You could always give the codemaster title to him via his custom title.
