about 30 minutes ago i posted this elsewhere, but im afraid i posted it in the WRONG place, for this section seems to have far far more readers and views. am new to this.
just created a forum, basically i created it due to a real problem i was having on my poker blog. (people were pretending to be others and commenting under their names) this was all being done by a few trolls, and i wanted to put a stop to it. someone recommended this forum, and they said that way people would be FORCED to create an account, and each poster would have a unique ID which would stop people from commenting and pretending to be ME doing the commenting when it was NOT ME. that is working out well, no one can impersonate me now as far as i know.
but now i have a different problem. im reading the admin settings, and im not computer literate enough to understand how to block people from posting images. this is very important cause i want to block the same trolls from posting porn. also guests have been posting without even creating an account, and i dont see how thats possible, but i certainly want to ban that. dont want to have to make people register just to READ the forum however, or ill lose readers. ONLY TO POST.
please tell me what to do to fix both of these big problems. also is there a way to ISP ban, and be notified of new topics everytime someone tries to create one without having to first see it and bookmark it?

Hi There is no way to stop images from being posted, per se. However a work-around is that you use put the code used to display an image into the censored words list, so it stops them from working. So make two entries in the censored words list. to change to In regards to guests posting, you will need to go into modify boards, and for each board, change the posting options to Registered Members Only.
