I have a member who added a poll to a thread after a number of posts had been made. The poll breaks the rules of my forum and needs to be removed. How do I as admin remove the poll?

Hi, Unfortunately, the only way to remove a poll, is to remove the topic it is attached to. You could, however, take advantage of a bug in the system. If you move the topic to another board, and select the option to leave a message behind, the poll will remain with the message left behind. So delete that topic (the moved: left behind topic), and then move the topic back

Sorry, I tried to follow those instructions, but no dice.
The poll keeps moving with it and I don't know what part of the instructions I'm missing.
I moved the thread and left a message behind. I then deleted the left behind message. I then moved the thread back to the original board.
That's what you said right?

Aye. That means the bug has been fixed, sorry. In that case, it's the first part of my reply. It's not possible to remove it mate, sorry

Ok, thanks. That's something that probably should be looked at though, especially since polls can be added later on when the thread is already a few pages long.
