This system has been working really well since I first started my forum, but in the last 2 days, while you are still able to click "Like" or "Dislike", if you leave the topic and go back, all likes/dislikes vanish.
In the past, after a certain amount of time, old "like/dislikes" would disappear, presumably because there is a hard limit on the server side of how many would be saved, and old ones would be replaced by new ones. This wasn't a big deal, but not being able to see any likes/dislikes at all is frustrating for the users, who base their entire lives around sucking up for "likes"
I have made no changes to the global footer (or anything else) for months, but fwiw, here is the code:
