Forum URL: itsbeatifuloutside.proboards.comAll the threads since October 10th are marked as "New" and there is simply no way to change the status, making it impossibly confusing for the registered forum members. The only exception to this is that if the registered viewer is the last one to post in a thread. Things have been like this since Saturday morning from about 10am GMT. I can't see any setting that has ben altered anywhere. Please, please, please, any help would be appreciated!! EDIT : I have rewritten this first post to cover the problem that is seemingly being suffered by the five different boards admins who have posted in this thread.

Things have moved on a bit now and the "mark as read" button seems to do nothing at all. The forum seems to be stuck, with reading a thread not changing the threads status at all. Unless you are the last person to post on a thread, everything is marked as "New"

Yeah, I'm having the same problem on my forum. Every thread is marked as new, except the ones you've just posted in, and if you click on the "new" button, it doesn't take you to the newest post, it takes you to the first one in the thread. This is my forum: awritersrecluse.proboards.com/index.cgi

I have just discovered that the problem is on all threads since October 10th.
I registered on your board and the October 10th point is where your problem starts as well.
What next??

None.
I am hoping some nice support person will notice this and flag it up as a problem, as it is on at least three different forums.

So, that's five completely separate boards of differing topics and levels of posting, all with the same problem.
I am willing to bet that there are a heap of boards with the same problem that haven't even realised that they have a problem ...

Maybe those of us affected haven't made the problem clear, as no-one seems to have offered any possible solutions.
All the threads since October 10th are marked as "New" and there is simply no way to change the status, making it impossibly confusing for the registered forum members.
Things have been like this since Saturday morning.
What I would like to know is, what changed on Saturday morning and what is the significance of October 10th? Also, if it is code related, why are not all boards affected?
Please, I am feeling frustrated, confused and helpless and am looking for some answers for my forum members.
