Board URL: thenewbornera.proboards.comProblem: I went to change Kai Cooper's profile to be in human after accepting him. I was only on proboards(the site) and AVG picked up Trojan horse Generic 15.BHFL when I clicked on the member group. I use Firefox and have windows Vista, but I have no idea what caused it, or the information on the above.

There have been alot problems with the google ads lately and it's possible it might be something new after the audible ads were removed the other night. (It's possible that the trojan was alerted through an ad)

It wouldn't let me heal the thing or anything, and it wasn't in the virus vault. So, I'm a little scared. Then again, in my resident shield its detected and blocked several threats. So I'm guessing it did the same? I've searched where it said it found the file and everything, but nothing. Here is the profile in question: thenewbornera.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=kaicooper

Hi,
Do you still get the same error when modifying that profile? And is it just when doing that? ProBoards, in itself, does not have trojans, however, as you know, people can add things to their forums, and members can add images etc to their profiles.

Hi there. Nope, I don't get the error again. I tried it a few more times. And yes, that was the only time I've ever had that happen. And yes, I'm aware I'm still a bit scared that I may have something, though I've searched and there have been instances when AVG picks up something that's harmless.

I gather you have ran a scan on your computer? If AVG gave a warning, it would have blocked it, so you shouldn't have anything on your computer

Yes I ran a scan And oh really? Cool, that makes me relieved. Thanks! Should I be worried that it'll pop back up? Especially for other staff when it comes to modifying their profile to a new species?

If you aren't continuing to get it, then i wouldn't worry. It could have been a phantom.

A few of my members are getting the trojan message when they log on as well. I have not gotten it myself but a few have complained. What can be done?
