Thats hell alot I have a few other things in place as well. I am not about to publisize ALL my protection.. The reason for it all.. Let's just say that I have had people try to hack my personal network. So I decided I did not like that, and have put into place everything I can to protect myself. can we have 2 antivirus in a single OS? if no then how will it affect the OS?

It will slow it down significantly because they tend to fight for your system resources. That's why it's recommend to run only one AV all the time. I feel bad for someone who has both Norton and McAfee on their system

So I decided I did not like that, and have put into place everything I can to protect myself. can we have 2 antivirus in a single OS? if no then how will it affect the OS? Yes you can... However if they both have a "Shield" then that could cause a problem. As each "Shield" will eat up computer resources. Now you could only use one Antivirus "Shield" and do scans using both Antivirus apps. However that would be going overbaord... Norton Corp has been perfect for me.

Good choice. I'd pick myself up a copy to see how it compares to Kaspersky, but they only sell volume licenses.
How are startup times with it enabled?

I heard various comments about it slowing down startup significantly, but I never had any confirmation.
I do have to admid, Symantec's home security isn't that great, but they make up for it with their Corporate products.
I wonder how version 10 compares to McAfee Enterprise 8.0i
