I love Wal-Mart. I grew up going to Target, but once they built a Wal-Mart here my mom started shopping there. They are a bit cheaper than Target in some respects. Now 12 years later I'm still shopping at Wal-Mart. I hate the supercenters though. I think their fresh food is nasty. I stick with the grocery store for that.

Pro-Walmart
Who is to say that thing is true? Probably some guy who didn't get his refund on a plasma TV so he gets pissed and tries to destroy Sam Walter's greatest accomplishment....

It's a store. If you don't like it, don't shop there, simple as that. As for me, I love the store. They have everything I need for a reasonable price. I have no reason not to like them. People, you cannot just say that, if certain people disaggree with the values of a company and stronly object to certain policy's then they have the right to act on their views and try and do something about it rather than just ignore it and avoid them pretending they are ignorant of the knowledge they have.

Wal-Mart own Asda here in England. I hate Asda, not for any good reason, but for some reason I've developed tribal loyalties to a certain super-market, plus I hate Asda's adverts, they're worse than Tesco's which are atrocious.
Anyway, I read abit of that, then realised it was immensley biased and got the jist of what it was trying to say pretty soon (i.e. 'Wall-Mart -bad'). I'm pretty indifferent to Wal-Mart, they offer good service to the people but have questionable moral principles. Should probably be slapped with bigger penalties for their violations of the law than other companies, given their size.

Yes they can just say that. Most people don't have the sense to act on their views, so it's easier to just not shop there. If you don't, you won't have prolems, and won't have anything to act on.

I am all for Walmart. The prices are low, I can generally find what I want. Sure it hurts local business but like someone said, that's what happens when bad comes with the good.

Walmart (or Asda over here) have cheap prices because they thrive on ripping the little guy off. Its like most supermarkets and I get sick of it.
