Skirts being banned in schools

what are your views on this, i think its stupid its up to a girl if she want to wear a skirt what do the law want girls to be covered up so u cant tell there female personally i think its stupid

Uhh, you can tell that a girl is a female even if she's not wearing a skirt.

I agree with it. Everytime I see a girl wearing a skirt it's so tiny you can see her butt. Long skirts are ok, but no girls wear those anymore. (where I am at least)

When i was a lad ;D school uniform had to follow certain rules, boys wore black trousers, blazer, and white shirt, and the school tie
girls wore a skirt that the hemline was just below the knee, white blouse, tie, and jumper.
girls kept trying to get away with shortening the skirt, and now it seems that they are nealy only wearing wide belts, the skirts are too short for school.

so what are the authorities to do ?
if they won't wear the appropriate length of skirt, then they must wear trousers.


I'm sure they thought long and hard about this before making the decision.

thanks for replying i agree i see no problems with skirts i agree that girls as young as 9 -12 or whatever shouldnt wear them because they maybe dont understand what kind of ppl are out there like my sister whos 10 goes out in a skirt and she has had no problems as of yet so i dont know what the full is all about

Gotta agree here, although a nice skirt on a girl is not bad in schools it is. lads being lads will look and look and look therefore removing there attention from the lesson . You go to school to learn not dress for a beauty pagent

*claps* Well said. I get ragged on for the way I dress all the time (real baggy boy-ish clothes) and I just say, "I don't care, I'm not in school to impress anyone." Everyone else should think that way too...
