Please pick one scenario and answer the question.
Scenario 1: In 1955, a scientist created a time machine, secret to the outside world. (s)He warped him/herself to your front doorstep and asks you to give him/her a tour. The time machine will warp him/her back to the time (s)he came from. (s)he asks you to give him/her a tour. What will you let him/her tour, and what will you restrict him/her from seeing and why?
Scenario 2: In 2055, a Xalian scientist created a time machine to zap you in the future and take you hostage for a time of exactly 24 hours. During that time, the Xalians, a sentient species of extraterrestrials who have signed a peace treaty with the humans, will show you everything they pelase. What will you see?

Scenario 1: I'd just give him a TV.

Probably scenerio two. I'd like to take a tour of probing and look out the window and see a firmly dismantled earth below. Then when I got back to present day, I could do the Nelson laugh, "haha, told ya so!!!"

Haha answering both would be fun Probably the second one for me. If there are time machines then there are tons of things that are new that we don't have today, and I'd love that. If someone from '55 (19 ) came here though, I'd have to ask if they were for or against segregation. If they were against segregation, then I'd show them that if they keep working towards it then they will succeed (and I will show them ). I'd also let them ask me if certain people were dead or alive and what they are currently doing... Annnnnnd I'd maybe show them some of the technological advances that we have today compared to back then.
