Alright I don't know what the problem is and since i only have one game it don't help.
I bought this game cube today and this game the game was working fine a coupleof hours ago. I go up to watch a movie. I come back turn the thing on and it isn't reading the disc.
Is the gamecube like overheated or something or what

Yes it could be scratched. It's hard to tell if it's a problem with the console itself or not if you only have one game though

Maybe try cleaning the lazer lens with a cotton swab and/or clean the ventalation things on the sides.
I sometimes have to clean that lens with a little rubbing alcohol on the cotton swab.

If so let it cool down for 15+ minutes. Did you check to make sure that the CD is seated properly? Did you check to make sure that the Power and AV cords are pluged in all the way on both ends?
