The banner ads can give you spyware via 3rd party cookies. But how many people block the ads? Not many, apparently... Just a quick point to note - blocking the ads here at ProBoards can get you banned. He means a ad-blocker on a browser, that blocks all ads on every page on the net, not for a specific board or related to proboards.

If you block the adds on Proboards (Anywhere) then you can be banned. You have to either add ProBords to the do not block list, OR dissable it when you are here.

If you block the ads here by any method, you're risking losing your account and your forum (if applicable). The ads keep ProBoards free to use - if you want adfree, pay for it.
