Did you know that there is tecnicaly 60 states in the U.S. That is if you count the 10 Island teritories of the U.S. that are not counted in the 50 states, take Midway for instance, if you look on a map it looks like its part of Hawaii but it is accualy seperate from Hawaii and its still part of the U.S. yet you will never find it on any map of the U.S. Just think of what can be off on the 10 Unlisted States of America (funny thats still U.S.A.) Why do they not show up on the maps its not because they are too far out of the way and some of them "too small" like many are lead to belive its accualy because the government is hiding something, there are even Area controlled by the U.S. that will never be found on any world map. So yea it is the places we dont know of that we should be scared of. BTW I do blieve Area 51 is concealing Aliens under the surface, and developing some prototype aviation vehicles, BTW the aircraft is not called Aurora it is accualy called something unknown to the public it is at the moment known as "Project Aurora" Just like the stealth was called "Project Daisy" and the SR-71 Blackbird was called "Project Pheonix" (I have seen the accualy SR-71 Blackbird there is a sign next to where it is now that sais it was developed under the name "Project Pheonix") No, there are not. If there were, they would be the '60th state'. Theres a difference between territories and other designated US help. Heh. Could be a top notch research facity. Or someone could have spilled something toxic that no one wants to clean up, so they threw up some signs and fences. It could be Atlantis. Therizing is fun, but we won't really know unless one of you is a Military Head in the know. Since thats unlikely, I believe its where they house old fighter jets for generating new prototypes. Accualty the 10 island teritories of the U.S. are tecnicaly states, I learned this in school, and if cuba is admited into the US as a state that a few of these territories will be acknowlaged as states. But untill then they will only count 50 states even though there are 10 Unlisted States. The 10 island teritories of the U.S. have been known as the 10 Unlisted States for some time now. mayby someday you will learn more on the subject.

*snort* And where's Roswell? ;D Anyway, it's just prototype aircraft. The SR-71 Blackbird was developed there. There are rumours of an aircraft called the "Aurora" that supposedly can get from LA to New York city in 30 minutes being devolped in Area 51. It is believed that the aurora can reach speeds of Mach 7.

Rod, I just took a Government and another History class-college level. Pretty sure I know what the difference between a 'territory' and a 'state' are. Also, this is a thread about Area 51. Not terrortories and states anyway. Don't know why we're wandering off topic. Oh, I'd like to know more about this 'Auroura'

"Project Auroura" An Aircraft capable of flying fom one side of the U.S. to the other in 30 minutes ,suposedly. Originaly "Project Auroura" was suposed to be an aircraft that would be invisible to the untrained human eye, even when parked in the middle of a parkinglot in broad daylight, the designs where scraped and Auroura was redisigned to be the fastest aircraft in the skies.

i think an aircraft that moves that fast is cool, but one thats invisible would be more beneficial in times of war, at least i think.

But think of transportation. There is an aircraft currently being built that will be able to 'skip' on the uper atmosphere at around 10000 mph.

It does exist. When the steath was being designed it was known as "Project Daisy" and wouldn't you know it the Air Force denied that there was a steatlh aircraft underconstruction called Daisy, (They where telling the truth because its not called Daisy the codename was Project Daisy) the Blackbird was called "Project Pheonix" and the airforce denied its existance when it was refered to as Pheonix. It doesn't suprise me at all that they will deny "Aurora" as existing because the aircraft is not called Aurora. At the moment the name is unknown to the public. "Project Aurora" does exist but the Air Force will deny its existance when asked about it unless you know what the ship is truly called in which case they will say nothing because knowing just the name would mean you know everything about it and have seen it for yourself.

Like anyone would see it. There was a few sightings in southern California a couple years ago. The witnesses described something like the Stealth Fighter, only more narrow and stream-lined.

And of corse the Air Foced claim that it is the second blackbird the only one still flying. You did know that two blackbirds were made right, one of them is in the NASA Museum (AKA NASM) There have also been sightings of a disk shaped aircraft that reflected everything arround it, the Air Force claim that it is accualy a highly reflective weather baloon. Many belive it to be the original "Project Aurora". I wouldn't be suprised if Project Aroura is acualy two aircrafts under one codename. "Project Pheonix" was more than just the blackbird, it was also a steath missile that to my knolage was a failure.

The Aurora could be 2 aircraft, but that might explain why we don't know about it. They'd rather make 2 aircrafts, even though the ones we have are perfectly functional, instead of lowering our taxes. All I can say is "Thanks, George!".
