Come to America. We believe in all kinds of nonsense. Life on other planets is far from being nonsense, I'm sure we'll find it one day, though possibly not in our lifetime nor per se by looking through a telescope.

You have to be really conceited to believe that we're the only planet with intelligent life, especially since the universe goes on for infinity in all directions. That means that there is an infinite number of stars with an infinite number of solar systems and planets. So they have to be out there.

There's bound to be life out there somewhere. We have trillions of galaxies in our universe, and who knows how many other universe's there are besides this one. Are we to believe that earth, a tiny speck in all of this, is the only source of life?
I'm not saying there's Star Wars stuff going on out there, but there's bound to be microscopic bacteria out there, similar to the ones on the bottom of the ocean floors, that produce food and energy using sulfur.

I'm not saying there's Star Wars stuff going on out there, but there's bound to be microscopic bacteria out there, similar to the ones on the bottom of the ocean floors, that produce food and energy using sulfur. And intelligent life. Remember, there is an infinite number of planets, stars, and solar systems. We may never even discover the aliens before the sun goes mental and devours our solar system in a few million years. But they're out there.
