The Plot
Saint Rita was built back in 1958, by Stephan J. Sparkowski. Even at the age of 49, it was his goal to have a school named just for the state he was born and raised in. Built in the heart of Hudson Valley New York. He wanted it built in a place that was different, a place that was surrounded by water. The school was finally finished in 1965, a year after his wife gave birth to his daughter . Then on September 17th, 1966, his daughter 2nd birthday, Sparkowski finally opened the school to the public. He was the Headmaster of the school, so he made sure it got run the way he wanted it to be done. As the years went on, Sparkowski grow older and ill. His final wish, before he died in 1985, was for the school to go private and build on dormitories. The school closed for more construction in 1986, until 1987 when the construction of the dormitories were finally completed. In his will, Stephan J. R, left the school in the hands of his daughter Jacqueline L Sparkowski . In 1988, the school finally opened for good. Though it was now a private school and it took an application to get in, it was still quite successful. The only flaw was, that not to many people liked the idea of boys and girls attending the same school, so it was over run by more girls then boys at the time. In 1993, Jacqueline opened the school to kids, not just of Hudson Vally, but the whole state. As time went by, the more parents wanted their kids in the school. Soon, it was fair to say, that more boys were attending the private school. Now in 2007, Saint Rita teaches and produces some of the talented and smart children of the century. A lot of their graduates get accepted to Yale or Harvard, though most choose to stay closer to home. Come join in on the High School the century.

ST Rita is a pretty much free-for-all school RPG. We allow all levels or RP'ers, as long as you can post a half decent paragraph. We are a friendly community, and someone is always willing to help you when you need it.
We don't have a ton of rules, super controlling mods, or admins who think they run the universe. We are just a group of friendly people role playing. There isn't much conflict. For the most part, Avalla is a nice place to be.

Saint Rita Academy . Home of the olive and gray. Home of the lions.
Saint Rita Academy is set in Hudson Valley part of New York. Most of the students are wealthy, but we get a fair share of scholarship students. The school is not far from New York City, but students prefer the town of Hudson for their out of school activities instead. The school is huge, with buildings and fields for everything you could imagine.

The town of Hudson is a large part of the Saint Rita community. The students can often be found there on weekends, and many graduates set up their businesses around town. Most people like ST Rita. It has everything they need- there's a huge plaza downtown- yet it's a nice, quiet place. Hudson is a beautiful town, with gardens and trees in front of almost every building. Although it sounds like a perfect little paradise, the price is high. Really high.
