The World of Pilantica is a strange place. A place where no modern man has been, and perhaps never will. The place is governed by the all seeing Pilantican Lords, which dictates to the populace of the world. But don't you worry, these lords don't truly interfere with everything, there are other rulers that guide and help you out, and they are the monarchs of each of their kingdom.

There are 5 kingdoms on this world, and each is governed by a monarch, which has to follow the basic guidelines laid down by the Lords of the world. But they can make their own rules for their own kingdoms, as long as they don't make any rules that don't follow at least the basic laws.

Every Month, a competition is started by the Pilantican Lords, hoping to draw praise, and much needed activity from the worlds populace. These competitions vary from story telling, to various other unique competitions.
