what if you don't use the youtube thing in posts but put a video on the front of your site, is there a code to do that? You can put the youtube code from the youtube video's page into your global header, and I think it'll work, I might be wrong. However I do know that the ads will still show. You are not wrong. I checked with my Gamerz Heaven Test fourm. It works.

I just noticed the related videos are embedded too. Not all of those are appropriate, so I dunno if you have plans for embedding without related videos or not. Just to bring this up again since I didn't see it addressed after Venom posted. I was able to find two men having sex through "related" link in an embedded video in GT. Double-clicking it (in an effort to get it to stop playing) took me to the Youtube page in another tab but with the "Must be 18 years or older" page.

I haven't read all the posts here, so my question might already be answered, but I'm going to ask it anyway so I don't waste time reading...
How do you put a youtube link in the message so the actual video shows up? Thanking you in advance......

Is there any possibility of the ads being moved to above (and) below the videos so it doesn't stretch some forums? I know that it doesn't affect most, but there are lots that have fixed width, and it doesn't have to be a narrow board either. This isn't allowed. And just a note to all of those people stating that 'What resolution do you use?'. It has nothing to do with resolution. MANY forum have a fixed width, and this ad + video width is WIDER than their fixed width. And to increase their fixed width would mean redoing the whole skin......

I read your post earlier, I know it wouldn't be allowed to frig around with advertisements with 3rd party codes as part of the TOS, but what about ad placement as an option, like bottom/top/right/left, like the top ads can be placed above or below the top table of a forum iirc?

I love this new facility and just for the record. When I first used it to put a video on yesterday there were ads down the side now today after 2 more video's have gone on by me and another person, there are no ads showing against the video's. Anyway thankyou for a great addition.

I wish I could be as thrilled as everybody else. I had Chris's youtube code in my footers before and my forum was fine. Now, with this alteration, there is some sort of a conflict and I can't post any videos at all and my boards all messed up. In the blink of an eye, my boards a mess (a couple of them in fact).

By the way, the stretching of the forum because of the stupid ads is totally unacceptable. A huge number of members resize their forums, and for this feature not to take that into consideration is arrogant.
I've been working on a forum redesign for a year and have planned to release it soon. All of the sudden everything is ruined because of this addition. I have nothing against improvements, but don't see why these ads are necessary and for them to make my forum look like junk is BS.

Forgive me if this hasn't been covered yet but, is there a way we can turn it off? Say like a youtube video options in the general settings?
