I live in a nice quiet urban/residential setting. Single family homes, but a good sized township and shopping district just down over the hill minutes away. Still we have one of those neighbors who thinks he has freedom to do whatever he wishes regardless of county laws against burning in your back yard and fireworks. All week long, before and after the 4th, I can go outside and see the burned out remains of those little rockets you stick in the ground on the roof of my house.

Florida allows the selling of fireworks. As long as you fill out a form, promising not to use them in the state. o.O Haha, losers.

Connecticut is buckling down on the illegal fireworks. which are pretty much the best ones considering they're the biggest and brightest. so now we're gonna get stuck with the stupid little sparklers that do no excitement whatsoever.

So how long until fireworks are illegal everywhere? I think it's stupid that everyone gets punished because a few morons don't know how to use them responsibly and blow off their hands and burn down their houses.

My state's government has removed our freedom, sadly.

We're not allowed to fire off the ones that go into the sky, because its illegal, just like sparklers are. Yet, some people still shoot them off, I saw like four of them last night. We had bought some fireworks at the store, and they were just ones that shot confetti out of them, they were a huge rip off.

We couldn't even see the local show from the house last night (and were intoxicated, so we couldn't go to the boat access to see them).. highly disappointed. Fireworks shouldn't be illegal.. they should just be regulated by age to purchase or something, since it's usually younger people that misuse them

I love fireworks. I rarely get to fire them though. Where I have lived for the best several years, neither state allowed them. My home state of Missouri allowed them. Sometimes I wish I was there every fourth so I could shoot them off. I think that I should go into firework displays. ;D
