hey everyone, Just a quick note to let you all know that I'm back, and thank you for the kind words left about my father after his passing. I was able to fly out for his funeral, but my brother and two uncles were unable to make it. It was a beautiful ceremony (that dad really didn't want, but he got anyway), and I realized some things about my dad that I really hadn't seen while he was alive. My dad was a great man who had the biggest heart of anyone I've ever known. He had so many friends, and not one enemy on the face of this planet. I feel selfish in saying that I miss him and it's unfair that he died before knowing he was a grandpa (my brother just found out his girlfriend had a baby and hadn't told him), or that he doesn't get to see any of us three kids get married.. but he's not in pain, and where he's at now, he doesn't have Diabetes anymore. I traveled sick with a head cold and have been home since monday night.. my ears are still screwed from my flights and that worries me, but after what I've been through I just don't have the money to go to a doctor for it. At any rate, I enjoyed the few days with my family even though it was a sad occasion.. but I'm glad to be home. I only slept for about four hours while I was gone and have done pretty much nothing but sleep since I've been home. I also brought home a new addition with me.. my stepmom bought me a ferret while I was there, dad had tried to get one for me and I wouldn't let him, so it was her way of trying to make things better for me. I'll get some pictures up in the next few days Glad to be back and ready to stir things up again here on PBS, lol. Hope everyone's week has been better than mine.

I knew you were back...I saw you at B&C! How in Gods name did you travel with a ferret? I know that someone around here has a real cool ferret site for you to explore!

thanks ladies! ^-^ I took him on the plane with me.. and he did really well. Unlike me, he got to sleep most of the way home I brought him in a small animal carrier and fed and watered him during layovers. He was a real trooper. If you find that site let me know! I haven't had a ferret in three years, so I'm doing the baby stage all over again!

Generally any ferret you buy here in the US has been de-glanded. They have two dot tattoos on their ears and that means they've been spayed/neutered and de-scented. It's an aquired smell, and you get used to it after awhile ^-^ You just gotta keep their litter box clean and wash their blankies so they don't stink. My boyfriend's been complaining that I smell of ferret He'll get used to it too.

we paid $99 for mine, but when I got my first one a few years ago I paid $150 for him. I guess it depends on where you go o.o We got Podo at PetCo and they were on sale.

They didn't let me take my ferret. That's a really cute name though. I'm glad your back, it's fun having you around! I'm really sorry about all that has been going on as well.
