So, who do you write like? Are you a Charles Dickens or, do people greet your work with: What the Dickens!!!

Apparently, my style is that of sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Yes, it's a bit of silliness for a Friday night.

I write like DAVID FOSTER WALLACE.
I had 7 characters to chose from that I RP with... I wonder if my writing style would be different for every character?
That was cool! Thank you!

I find it concerning that every excerpt I paste from A Midsummer Night's Dream turns out to be written like James Joyce.

From a few paragraphs of my dissertation it says I write like David Foster Wallace, who I had not heard of until just now. Apparently he's pretty good though. Maybe I'll check him out.

My poetry: Chuck Palahniuk. Fanfiction: Douglas Adams. My fiction 1: Stephen King. My fiction 2: David Foster Wallace. RP 1: Stephen King. RP 2: William Gibson. Nonfiction 1/2/3: David Foster Wallace. ...well, the most consistent writing style is nonfiction, at least. It says I write like Lewis Carroll. I don't even know who that is Some unimportant dude who wrote a book called Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and some other stuff.

I found this the other day. Put the same piece in three times and got two different answers, then each of my other three different pieces of the most similar writing were from all different authors. Then I put passages from authors in and it says they're by different authors. Try it.

I've put in a few pieces and got Jack London and Dan Brown. I'm not a Jack London fan and I've never read anything of Dan Brown, so that's pretty disappointing.

A different part of my dissertation got Edgar Allan Poe.
Sossity, I fear this doesn't provide the scientific examination of my writing you suggested it would.
