I live in Phoenix. Our average is .9 inches a year... so no.
I'll trade you though, I absolutely love rain. Thinking about moving to Seattle after college just for the climate change.

I'm going to pretend like I wasn't tempted to be the first to "go there" in this topic by mentioning how I may or may not have giggled at everyone commenting on how many inches they've been getting. Yeah, let's pretend that never happened. No one wants to be that poster. =P
Back on-topic, we've been getting random thunderstorms here a lot lately. And by random, I mean it's bright and sunny one second and storming horribly the next. Yesterday, I brought in groceries with the sun beaming down on me. While I was still putting them away I heard thunder. Looked outside and the skies were covered, the wind was blowing, and rain was pelting down. I was drenched in the forty seconds it took me to run out to the car, roll the windows up, and run back inside. D:

I live in Phoenix. Our average is .9 inches a year... so no. I'll trade you though, I absolutely love rain. Thinking about moving to Seattle after college just for the climate change. i tell you it not the rainy city at all. it more of a mist there. seppy right about that^^^ not much actual rain, usually just a lame drizzle with mostly sunny skies. it's awkward and annoying =P but yeah, here in arkansas it's been pretty normal i guess. we're actually above the monthly average for this month for rainfall, but for the past 2 motnhs we've been far below. in april though, immediately after all the tornadoes tore up my town, it flooded some of the worst it has in decades. had the entire interstate shut down for a few days, and I40 (one of the biggest travel roads in the country) was completely closed going through and around Little Rock. lately though it's been ok, it finally stormed after the 115 degree heat and cooled things down, and it's stormed/rained at least once a day since the last 100 degree day. we havent even hit the 90s since. lol. tis quite nice. sorry, i cant enter a thread involving weather and not ramble on with several paragraphs =P
