I saw a problem with adding many buttons to the Nav bar, especially when logged in as admin, so i played with the idea of a separate row, here's my attempt where you can see the exra nav bar just above the newsfeed 1. for my own purposes i am happy to do it this way (copy and paste a copy of the existing navbar into a plugin and edit as needed), though i would like to know how to set it below the original 2. I thought this would be a great addition to the database, especially for those making several custom pages, basically to add the functionality of editing the second nav bar like you would for the original, maybe the plugin would combine the two. Functionality to include a setting to place it where i have mine, or under the original. If this plugin works well, i may even use it anyway. I had originally asked (2 line menu) about adding a line break that is movable within the nav settings, but this was rejected

Hi Patrick [ASE], Simple to do, but what should happen with the rounded corners of the navigation bar if a new bar is added? Should they get removed? For an example, run this bit of code in the developer console (i.e Firebug in firefox) if you can. $("#navigation-menu").clone().appendTo($("header")); That will clone the nav just to show you want I mean.

Hi PeterWould it be simple to add a second navbar to a custom page below the navtree? solariaweyr.proboards.com/
Navbar Nav tree Second Navbar only in the custom page. (on the link it'd be above the box with 'Weyrling Topics' - which is currently in the sidebar plugin headers but I'm hoping to move into the global messages plugin when it has a table friendly mode )
Sort of thing so I could make like a Weyrling Portal with the second navbar having links to each classes page. At the moment if I copy in this: <font size="1"><div id="navigation-menu" class="ui-helper-clearfix"> <ul role="navigation">
<font color="#001fff"> <li> <a href="/page/custompage" accesskey=""> custom </a> </li></font> </font><span style="font-size:x-small;"><li></span> <span style="font-size:x-small;"><a href="http://proboards.com" accesskey=""></span> <span style="font-size:x-small;">Website</span> <span style="font-size:x-small;"></a></span> <span style="font-size:x-small;"></li>
</span><font size="1"> </ul> </div></font>
From Patrick [ASE]'s other thread it puts it below the red global message box. Thanks!

Very simple, but obviously a plugin won't work as they don't run on custom pages, so a script would need to be placed on the custom page by yourself.

I can do that, if I ask nicely would you be able to help me with what that script should be? (That's beyond my current skills by a long way I feel - still can't get if/else statements right )

I meant to add that I will look at it this weekend if I get time.
