It seems that the award plugin reacts oddly when also using the "sidebar redux", likely relating to use of the shoutbox. When I have "sidebar redux" activated and am at the page in which you can award a member or remove an award, the shoutbox will also display the awards. I can still award a member, but I cannot remove any. When I try, the awards do decrease, but it is unable to save. If I disable "sidebar redux", things work appropriately. Workable, but I wanted to inform you of this issue. Love the plugin! Thanks for the update dshain, that issue was fixed in version 2.4.1.. You can get the latest version (2.4.2) from the link in the opening post of this thread.

Do you know if it is possible to install the awards system more than once? That is, if you had two sets of awards that you did not want to mix?

I'm afraid not.. If you try to install the plugin a second time it would over-write the existing one, and if you did manage to install it twice the second code would take priority over the first, so you'd never see the awards in the first code.
Sorry.

Hey Todge! I'm having a weird issue with your plugin. The forum in question is here, but it's not really implemented yet but - whenever I set the div class in the mini profile it creates something that's 200px by 0px. Even if it's set to make a link appear. Any idea why it might be doing that?

TodgeHuh. I had a link on the here and it seems to have vanished. Wups. spn-song-remains.boards.net/user/2 <-- the default skin should have the awards in it. See that line in the bottom next to the smaller avatar pic? That should be a link to the awards and it's not.

It's because you have a heavily modified mini-profile.
I have changed the code numerous times to cover different mini-profiles, but you have made changes that still breaks it.
I'll change it to, hopefully cover 'all' mini-profiles, but it may mean you having to fill in an extra option in the plugin and possibly adding something into your mini-profile for the code to anchor to.

Todge>< Is there anything coding-wise I could do to help? I kinda figured it was going to be the miniprofile that I was using.

Right now the plugin looks for the cell with the class 'avatar' then takes it's parent node and assumes that is the mini-profile cell, but you have embedded your avatar deeper into the mini-profile, so the code fails when it looks for the username, as it's not in the avatar's parent cell.
To make the code work the <div class='avatar'></div> cell needs to be a direct child of the mini-profile cell, so you could try re-arranging it to make sure it is..
In your mini-profile code, find this part..
<div class="avatar"> <div class="avatar-wrapper avatar_size_medium avatar-2"> $[user.avatar] </div> </div>
And replace it with this..
<div class="avatar-wrapper avatar_size_medium avatar-2"> $[user.avatar] </div>
Then put this somewhere into the main body of your mini-profile..
<div class="avatar"></div>
Hopefully that won't upset your current mini-profile and also allow the plugin to hook into it.

TodgeI won't lie most of what you just said is... confusing to me. But I need to get the avatar class somewhere in the miniprofile so that the award plug-in can find it basically from what you're saying? I did try to mess around with it and it's not affecting the layout of the miniprofile, but the plugin isn't finding it either. The coding's [redacted] and places I've tried to put the avatar class are: Right after the $[user] (where it is currently actually) Right after <div class="mask"> And inbetween the <table> and {if} here: <table> {foreach $[user.mini_custom_field]} {if $[user.mini_custom_field.name] == "Age"} Again, moving it around isn't changing how the miniprofile appears so that seems fine, it's just... I have no idea where to put it so that the plug in finds it.

Firefly Unicorn, That is the mini profile on my theme, so I thought I post to help out. If you revert your mini profile to what it was before Todge asked you to make changes, and put this in place of your personal text(I presume the div with the class "awards" was styling you created for that area, so put in there), then remove the <div class="avatar"></div> around "$[user.avatar_medium]", the awards link should show up properly/where you planned it to. You can play around the width and height in the inline styling there to achieve the look you want, those are just there to override the styling for the mini profile in the stylesheet. Edit: I should also note that the "Awards" link only shows up in posts, not on the profile page. <div class="$[miniprofile_class]" style="width:120px;height:40px;"> <span style="display:none;">$[user]</span> <div class="avatar" style="display:none;">$[user.avatar]</div> </div>

AlishaSo should it look something like this? <table class="textavi" width="100%" style="position:absolute;bottom:0px;"> <tr> <td style="border-color:transparent;border-width:0px 4px 0px 2px;border-style:solid;"> <div class="$[miniprofile_class]" style="width:120px;height:40px;"> <span style="display:none;">$[user]</span> <div class="avatar" style="display:none;">$[user.avatar]</div><br /> <div class="awards"></div> </div> <td width="75" style="vertical-align:top;"> {if $[user.avatar]} $[user.avatar_medium] {/if} </td> </tr> </table> It's still causing the same hiccup, with the awards creating a 200x0 area. Which! I hope this isn't me sounding ungrateful cause I'm super glad you took the time out to help too. I'm frustrated with myself because I'm probably doing this wrong now.
