This here is a plugin that will remove all instance of the following/friends feature.

When I have this plugin enabled my notifications tab under edit profile doesn't load.

What browser and maybe a screenshot? Because I just check Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and IE. And that tab was there for me.

I'll troubleshoot it tomorrow to see if it's conflicting with another plugin that I have or something. I'm on Chrome.

Alright. That's what I mainly use, and it works fine for me. Try disabling plug ins other than this one, one by one, until it works.

Ellie did you ever get to look into this a bit more? Also, were you looking at your own profile when the notifications tab disappeared?

It's the Sidebar Redux plugin that is interfering with it. When I have both enabled I can't see anything when I click the notifications tab under edit profile. The whole thing just disappears. With the sidebar disabled it works fine.

Update posted. Forgot to remove the sorting via those options in the members list. Download new one from the OP.

Shorty: My sidebar plugin is just a table that surrounds the forum. If I disable it and go into my headers and footers and add <table><tr><td> to my global header and </td></tr></table> to my footer, it kills the forum on the notifications page.

According to Firebug, your plugin checks for any <td> that includes the phrases on the notifications page, so it's getting the sidebar plugin's <td> surrounding the body of the forum before the one surrounding the message next to the checkbox. Might be worth revising somehow so it specifically looks for the <td> inside the profile and not any <td> on the page. Maybe by telling it to always start inside the <div role="main" id="content"> element that always surrounds the forum's main content instead of the document body, since that's where all the things you're hiding are located.
