Reply Button Relocation

Is there a way to add a REPLY button onto the PREV/NEXT action bar along side the Actions drop down box?  It is so dang inconvenient to scroll all the way up or down to get the the Reply button.

Also: it would be great to have the page select buttons at the Bottom of the page as well as at the top, because you get to the bottom, then you have to go back to the top to change pages. (yeah, I just quoted "Helter Skelter")

Hi, DeltaDart.

Go to Structure > Layout Templates > Thread and add this before the line that says $[search].

Then add this to the bottom of Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet.

Brain you are the man!  Thanks, that is great, just what we wanted.  Does that get saved with the theme when I export it?  Hell, I'll just export it and import to my beta site see I guess.

Is there any difference between the two Layout Template menu items?  It's listed under Structure and also Themes or is it just two ways to reach it?

Yep. Anything listed under Themes in the admin area is exported along with the theme.

Both Layout Templates links go to the same thing. There is no difference.

Hi Brian this works a treat - is it possible to get rid of the "Reply" button that's on the thread title bar? With this, I don't think I need it anymore - a floating 'reply' button's much better

Just remove any instance of $[reply_button] that's nested within a <div class="title-bar"> in Structure > Layout Templates > Thread.

Or better yet, the part in red. Same for the quick reply tab, only it'll say Quick Reply instead of $[thread.subject] below the red text.
